Graham: ‘Loud’ Trump Would ‘Turn the Entire Middle East Against Us’

Tuesday on ABC’s “The View,” Republican presidential candidate Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), a candidate for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, said his rival front-runner Donald Trump would “turn the entire Middle East against us” with his plan to take Iraq’s oil.

When asked if he thinks Trump is qualified to be president, Graham said, “No, I don’t. I’ll support him if he’s the nominee. His foreign policy makes no sense to me. To destroy ISIS he says we go to Iraq and Syria take their oil to pay for our wounded warriors. How would you like that job ‘hey I’m from the American army I here to take your oil.’  At the end of the day that turns the entire Middle East against us and doesn’t destroy ISIS. He’s loud, he’s very successful at the end of the day I don’t see it bringing us together. I’m sick and tired of talking about inane stuff. What about the $18 trillion deficit? What about money short to pay Medicare and Social Security?  What about Iran with a potential nuclear weapon? It’s not like there’s something specific to talk about. You ask him a question, you don’t get a specific answer. Ask me anything.”
