Buchanan: Sanders Defending Clinton on Email Was ‘Calculated Magnanimity’

Columnist Pat Buchanan dubbed Democratic presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) defense of fellow Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton on her emails “calculated magnanimity” on Friday’s “McLaughlin Group.”

Buchanan said that by defending Clinton, Sanders “moves himself outside it and he says to himself, praying, maybe the FBI does it…that’s not me, and I won’t be blamed, I won’t have my fingerprints on the revolver.” Buchanan added that the gesture was one of “calculated magnanimity.”
