Fiorina: Hillary ‘Failed To Answer’ ‘Fundamental Questions,’ But ‘Liberal Media’ ‘Ecstatic Over Style’

Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina argued Democratic presidential candidate former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “failed to answer the fundamental questions” about Benghazi in an interview with Fox News Radio’s John Gibson on Friday.

Fiorina said, “liberal media is sort of ecstatic over style, but the truth is, she failed to answer the fundamental questions. Why, knowing as she did, on the night it was occurring that this was a purposeful, pre-planned terrorist attack, did she nevertheless address the American people the following morning, and on many other occasions, and talk about a videotape that did not represent our values? She has lied.”

She continued that the hearings and the media coverage demonstrate that “to hold to Hillary Clinton accountable, for Benghazi and so many other things, it’s going to take a nominee who can hold her accountable in a general election debate.”

Fiorina added that she can hold Hillary accountable in a debate.

Later, Fiorina declared that if fellow Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump faced Clinton in a general election he wouldn’t win, because “much of the head-to-head matchup data says that the one person that Hillary Clinton in a general election is Donald Trump.”
