Friday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio endorsed Hillary Clinton for president in 2016.
Bill de Blasio said, “In this country over the last year a lot has changed. I think we have to look at the difference between the election a year ago, when Democrats wouldn’t talk about income inequality wouldn’t talk about taxing wealthy verses now where I think the Democrat party has really consolidated views and speaking forcefully on the issues. The candidate whom I believe can fundamentally address the equality effective the candidate who has the right vision and experience to get the job done is Hillary Clinton.”
He continued, “I’ve seen her vision and platform develop over five months and extremely pleased with what she’s put on the table and has a history of fighting issues.”
