Jeb Denies Knowledge of Campaign’s Rubio Oppo Research Memo: ‘I Didn’t See It’

Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush denied knowledge of a 112-page internal campaign memo leaked to the press last week that had opposition research on his rival Marco Rubio until he read about it in the media.

When asked about the memo Bush said, “I didn’t see it. I’m focused … I didn’t see it. I read about it when it was leaked for sure.”

He said he instead wanted campaign focused “on winning New Hampshire, winning Iowa, winning Nevada.”

“That’s our first mission,” he declared.
