Monday on Newmax.TV’s “The Steve Malzberg Show,” Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) said Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson should get some leeway on the media scrutiny of his past.
Grassley said, “And Carson’s specific case, I would say that when you say something or do something when you’re 17 years old and you’re in your early 60s now, there ought to be some leeway from what you perceive from when you’re 17 years old versus what the situation is now.”
