North Carolina Man Accused of Violent Crime Spree: ‘I Am the Anti-Christ’

ABC11 reports that a Raleigh, NC man accused of a violent crime spree yelled, “I am the Anti-Christ” and threatened to put the Empire State building “up in flames.”

Twenty-one-year-old Kendrick Keyanti Gregory’s comments came as he appeared before a judge for his third court appearance following his extradition from New York last week.

Gregory is accused of an August crime spree that included the robbery and killing of a pawn shop owner, the rape of a 15-year-old girl and a robbery and shooting of a man outside of a hotel. He was finally arrested in New York during a traffic stop where authorities found him to be driving a stolen vehicle with two guns inside the vehicle.

Currently facing a first-degree murder charge, Gregory’s bond is set at $2.1 million. His mother shared with ABC11 that her son has mental issues.
