Fiorina on CA Shooting Being Terrorism: ‘If It Quacks Like a Duck…’

Friday in an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” GOP presidential hopeful reacted to Wednesday’s mass shooting in San Bernardino, CA.

If Fiorina were president, she said she would call for prayers, but would also acknowledge this was a terrorist attack.

Fiorina rejected the claim that the the answer was more gun control.

“In the South Carolina mass shooting, it turns out that guy, Dylann Roof, should never have been sold a gun,” she added. “He fell through the cracks. It turns out that South Carolina has very strict gun control laws. It didn’t help. It turns out all the violence in Chicago is sitting in a city with some of the strictest gun control laws. This isn’t the answer. The answer is let’s start by calling this crime what it appears to be,” she said.

But ultimately she said to begin attacking the problem, we must acknowledge the problem is terrorism.

“As your previous guest said, ‘If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck and sounds like a duck, maybe it’s a duck,'” Fiorina added.
