CNN Senior Political Commentator and former advisor to President Obama David Axelrod argued GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump “is a propaganda bonanza for ISIS” on Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “New Day.”
Axelrod said, “I think fear is not just limited to them [Trump’s supporters], and I’ve said to my own party, and to others, that you can’t go after fear mongers if you’re not going after the fear. You have to address the fear. And I think that’s good advice for both parties. But you know, the irony of what he said…what’s he’s doing has real consequences globally. I mean, he is — he is a — he may not be the president, but he is a propaganda bonanza for ISIS. And that’s concerning. That transcends presidential politics.
