ABC News Chief Investigative Correspondent Brian Ross stated ISIS “may have infiltrated followers into this country with authentic-looking passports it has printed itself” in a report broadcast on Thursday’s “World News Tonight.”
Ross said, “American authorities are warning the terror group may have infiltrated followers into this country with authentic-looking passports it has printed itself, almost impossible to detect.”
Ross added that an intelligence report obtained by ABC says that “ISIS may have boxes full of fake passports” and that “individuals from Syria with passports ‘issued’ in these ISIS controlled cities or who had passport blanks, may have traveled to the U.S. individuals with fake passports may have come to the US.”
