Monday on Bill Bennett’s radio show, Republican presidential candidate former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-FL) defended his opponent Donald Trump against Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s claim at the debate Saturday night that ISIS is using Trump in their recruiting videos.
Bush said, “But banning all Muslims as Mr. Trump has suggested would make it harder to create the coalition to destroy ISIS. That should be our overall objective And by the way Hillary Clinton suggesting that Donald Trump is being used in an ISIS recruiting video, man, talk about chutzpah. There’s no evidence of that. There’s no evidence of that at all. Everybody knows the Benghazi excuse, that it was a video there. I could not believe she said that without any evidence. This is how they play the game on the left. They’re always blaming somebody. In this case, while I don’t agree with Trump’s idea, I don’t think he has anything to do with being a part of a recruiting video.”
