Monday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” former Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-AR), a candidate for the 2016 GOP nomination, said as far as the feud that is brewing between GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump and the Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton, Huckabee said the smart bet is on Trump.
“Look, nothing’s backfired on Donald Trump yet,” Huckabee said. “I’d put my money on him. Frankly, he’s played the whole media game like a kid on Christmas morning with a toy drum. He’s beaten the heck out of them. And I honestly don’t think that this is going to hurt Donald Trump. Every time somebody comes and tries to attack him, it backfires on them. And I think the Clintons have some vulnerability here.”
