CNN’s Foreman: State Push Against Syrian Refugees ‘Worst Setback’ for Human Rights Advocates In 2015

CNN Correspondent Tom Foreman said that state pushes against accepting Syrian refugees was the “Worst setback for advocates of human rights” in 2015 during CNN’s “All the Best, All the Worst 2015” special.

Foreman said, “Worst setback for advocates of human rights, the strong push from many states against taking in Syrian refugees.”

Model and reality TV personality Carmen Carrera added, “I think that that’s what our country is kind of like — is kind of all about, you know, is giving opportunities to other people. And having a safe place to go, to live freely.”
