Rubio: If Obama Could Take Away Everyone’s Guns, ‘He Would’

Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” Republican presidential candidate Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said President Barack Obama would take away everyone’s guns, if he could.

Rubio said, “His proposal for everyone is to infringe on the Second Amendment. This was a terrorist attack in San Bernardino and he jumps and says we need gun control.”

Stephanopoulos interjected, “But take away our guns?”

Rubio continued, “Well, if he could, he would. Obviously he knows he’s constrained by the Second Amendment so what he tries to do is chip away at it every moment … let me tell you what he’s trying to do, he’s trying to keep guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens by continuing to put new restricts on gun rights.”
