Dr. Cornel West, Union Theological Seminary Professor of Philosophy and Christian Practice, a Professor Emeritus at Princeton, argued GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump is “a multi-billionaire pseudo-populist with autocratic sensibilities, and some fascist proclivities” on Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time.”
During a discussion of Trump’s exchange on “New York values” with fellow candidate Texas Senator Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), West stated that while Trump “did tell the truth in terms of there are beautiful people in New York City, so anybody can stumble on the truth, you know what I mean?” “The problem with Trump is is that he’s a multi-billionaire pseudo-populist with autocratic sensibilities, and some fascist proclivities. That’s what’s dangerous about him.”
