Priebus: ‘Where Is The Media?’ On the Fact That Two Out of the Top Three GOPers In IA Are Hispanic?

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus wondered why the media wasn’t devoting more attention to the fact that two of the top three GOP finishers in Iowa, Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Florida Senator Marco Rubio, are Hispanic, while Cruz is the “first Hispanic out of Iowa for a major political party” on Tuesday’s “America’s Newsroom” on the Fox News Channel.

Priebus said, [relevant remarks begin around 0:50] “It’s been clear the whole election cycle that we have a lot of drama and some intrigue right now in our party, but, it has the whole country electrified. The other big thing, Bill, was, look, Ted Cruz, first Hispanic out of Iowa for a major political party, Marco Rubio, two out of our top three, Hispanic. Where is the media on this, right? This is a big deal.”
