Matthews on Cruz’s Rhetoric: ‘Somebody Wrote This Crap for Him,’ ‘Can’t Possibly Be Coming Out of a Brain’

Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Hardball,” after playing clips of the latest back and forth between Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz, (R-TX), host Chris Matthews said Cruz’s rhetoric “can’t possibly be coming out of a brain.”

Matthews said, “You know, let me just offer a little commentary here. Yes, Trump is a little out of hand today because he’s angry about losing, but every time I watch Cruz, I get the feeling somebody wrote this crap for him. It can’t possibly be coming out of a brain.”
