Watch: ESPN Reporter Shuts Down Arcade Fire’s Win Butler’s Attempt to Promote Canadian Health Care

Win Butler, the front-man for Canada-based band Arcade Fire, was named MVP of the 2016 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday.

In his speech, Butler urged the United States of America to take lessons from Canada’s health care system.

“I just wanted to say, it’s an election year in the U.S., the U.S. has a lot it can learn from Canada, health care, taking caring of people,” said Butler.

ESPN reporter Sage Steele quickly intervened, “We’re talking about celebrity stuff, not politics. Congratulations on your MVP.”
