O’Reilly: Trump Looks ‘Unstoppable,’ But Not a Lock Yet

Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” host Bill O’Reilly weighed in on the chances of Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump being the ultimate GOP nominee.

According to O’Reilly, Trump looks unstoppable, but there are circumstances that could prevent him from being the nominee.

“It is now clear that Donald Trump will go to the Republican convention in Cleveland this summer with more votes than anyone else,” O’Reilly said. “Last night he beat Ted Cruz by 450,000 across the board. Defeated Marco Rubio by more than a million. Therefore, there is no way Trump will lose the popular primary vote as his supporters are steadfast. That means he is almost unstoppable because if the Republican Party did some kind of end run regarding delegates or procedure, Mr. Trump could run on a third-party ticket, therefore dooming the GOP. Millions of Trump supporters will not accept the party doing something under the table. “

“Now things can happens, so ‘Talking Points’ cannot say for certain that Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee,” O’Reilly added. “But then again I can say that no one will beat him in the popular vote.”
