Priebus on 2016 GOP Presidential Race: ‘It’s Unbelievable to Be in the Middle of History That Will Be Talked About Forever’

During an interview with former Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) on WMEX 1510 in Rochester, NH on Thursday, Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus discussed the possibility of a contested Republican National Convention in Cleveland this summer.

Brown observed this election cycle’s GOP presidential nominating process was one for the history books, to which Priebus replied that it was “unbelievable” to be in the middle it.

“Well, I haven’t started pouring Bailey’s in my cereal yet, but I’ve certainly considered it,”  Priebus said. “No, people assume that I’m, people tell me, ‘Oh, you’ve got the worst job in the world.’ You know, it’s an incredible job. It’s an incredible opportunity, and it’s unbelievable to be in the middle of history that will be talked about forever.”
