Megyn Kelly Denies Pursuit of Fame: ‘Not My Goal’ to Take Down Trump

On Sunday’s “MediaBuzz” on the Fox News Channel, “The Kelly File” host Megyn Kelly discussed meeting with presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump at Trump Tower to “clear the air” after feuding since the first GOP debate.

“MediaBuzz” host Howard Kurtz asked Kelly if she enjoyed the fame that has come from her feud with Trump.

Kelly said she does not exactly enjoy her new-found fame.

“My goal in getting into news was never to be famous, and, in fact, there are significant down sides to fame,” Kelly told Kurtz.

She also said in the interview that it is not her “goal” to take down Donald Trump.

“I don’t feel any need to go in there and take down Trump, nor did I at the debates. That was not my goal,” she explained.
