The NRA’s Annual Meetings and Exhibits, held in Louisville, Kentucky, May 20-22, produced a “$53 million economic impact.”

According to The Courier-Journal, this made the convention “one of the most lucrative local meetings ever.”

Think about it: three days equaled $53 million. The exhibit hall was open Friday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Breitbart News previously reported that more than 80,000 people attended. This year’s attendance marked a 10,000-person increase over the large number in attendance at the 2015 event in Nashville.

A Moms Demand Action rally timed to counter the NRA’s Louisville convention drew “around 40” people, according to The Courier-Journal.
