McConnell on Holder’s Snowden Comments: One of the Worst Attorneys General We Ever Had

In an appearance to promote his memoir “The Long Game,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) reacted to comments from former Attorney General Eric Holder’s remarks on Edward Snowden during Tuesday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends.”

Holder had said Snowden performed a “public service” in a podcast interview with former Obama adviser David Axelrod, but added the caveat he still should be punished.

“That’s an outrageous comment from the former attorney general – truly outrageous,” he said. “It makes me glad again I voted against confirming him. He was one of the worst attorneys general we ever had.”
