WWE Wrestler-Turned UFC Fighter Brock Lesnar: ‘I’m the Modern-Day Bo Jackson’

Former WWE wrestler-turned former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar compared himself to former MLB and NFL star Bo Jackson Monday while discussing his return to UFC on ESPN’s “SportsCenter.”

“I’m a crossover athlete,” Lesnar told ESPN’s Hannah Storm. “I’m the modern-day Bo Jackson, people.”

Jackson won the Heisman award in 1985, and was named to the NFL’s Pro-Bowl in 1990. In baseball, Jackson was named an All-Star in 1989, where he went on to be named the game’s Most Valuable Player.

Lesnar is a four-time WWE Heavyweight Champion, a former UFC Heavyweight Champion and an NCAA Division I Heavyweight Wrestling Champion.
