Trump: ‘I Was Being Sarcastic’ About Russia Hacking Hillary’s Emails

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox and Friends.” Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said his comments urging Russia to hack into Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s email were  “sarcastic.”

TRUMP: You have to be kidding. His client, his person deleted 33,000 e-mails illegally. You look at that. And when I’m being sarcastic with something, first of all..

KILMEADE: You’re being sarcastic.

TRUMP: Of course I’m being sarcastic. The real problem is what was said on those e-mails from the Democratic national committee. You take a look at what was said, it’s disgraceful. It’s disgraceful.They talk about religion, talk about race, all sorts of things including women. What they said on the e-mails was a disgrace.
