Dan Balz: Coverage Of Trump In General ‘Has Been Tougher’ Than It Was In Primary

On Friday’s broadcast of PBS’ “Washington Week,” Washington Post Chief Correspondent Dan Balz stated that the coverage of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has been tougher in the general election “than it was when he had opponents in the Republican race.”

During a discussion of the amount of free media Trump has received, Balz said, “[T]he coverage really since he became effectively the Republican nominee has been tougher than it was when he had opponents in the Republican race.”
