FS1’s Clay Travis: Stanford’s McCaffrey Is the Greatest White Skill Position Player Ever

Monday on his Fox Sports Radio show “Outkick the Coverage,” host Clay Travis declared Stanford junior running back and 2015 Heisman runner-up Christian McCaffrey the best non-quarterback white skill position player ever.

“[McCaffrey] is the greatest white football player, who is not playing quarterback, of all time,” Travis said. “It’s a bold proposition to toss out there, but if you look at what Christian McCaffrey is capable of he reminds me a lot of Marshall Faulk, a lot of Reggie Bush. There has never been a white skill position player other than quarterback, not even counting the tight ends, the Rob Gronkowskis of the world, Christian McCaffrey is without parallel in the annals of football. He’s a junior and he is the best white running back in the history of the game. That is, if you put Christian McCaffrey back in 1960, he would be considered the greatest player in the history of mankind.”
