North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory said that he is declaring a state of emergency, dispatching the National Guard to help out police in Charlotte, and has not heard from President Obama while speaking with the Fox News Channel during its coverage of riots in Charlotte on Wednesday night.
McCrory further urged the media not to let rioters play to the cameras.
