NYT’s Confessore: Bill Clinton Described ‘Actual Problems’ With Obamacare, A Program ‘Pretty Close To’ What Hillary Proposed In 2008

On Thursday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” New York Times political reporter Nick Confessore stated that former President Bill Clinton’s criticism of Obamacare was a “Kinsley gaffe” that described “actual problems” with Obamacare, a program that is “pretty close to what Hillary Clinton proposed in 2008 as a candidate.”

Confessore said Clinton was “describing actual problems with the program, which is that, too many insurance plans are still too expensive on the exchanges.”

Confessore continued that Clinton engaged in a “Kinsley gaffe” by accidentally telling the truth about problems with the program.

He later added, “Obamacare is pretty close to what Hillary Clinton proposed in 2008 as a candidate.”
