Howard Dean: Trump ‘a Creature Out of the 14th Century’

Monday on MSNBC, while discussing the second presidential debate between Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, former Democratic National Committee chair and former Gov. Howard Dean (D-VT) said Trump has an “inability to recognize that he’s a creature out of the 14th century and not the 21st century.”

Discussing Donald Trump’s physical optics on the debate stage, Dean said, “Well except that he was sort of stalking her around the stage. That’s what it looks like to the other people that saw the debate and talked to me about it this morning. Women—you know I don’t notice it that much. I am not a woman, obviously. Women did not like that and they thought that was threatening behavior. Look I think Trump solidified his base but his base isn’t all that big. He did absolutely nothing to help women who are concerned of his behavior and his extraordinary sexist remarks and his apparent inability to recognize that he’s a creature out of the 14th century and not the 21st century.”
