Newt: Nixon Must Be Looking Down, Wondering Why He Couldn’t Be as ‘Clever’ as Obama at Dishonesty

Friday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich suggested what former President Richard Nixon had done to have to resign from office doesn’t measure up to the level of dishonesty by President Barack Obama by speculating on what Nixon would have thought of the Obama administration “total dishonesty.”

“Let’s talk about honesty and corruption,” Gingrich said. “If you look at what Barack Obama said publicly as a candidate and you look at what his team knew – it is a level of dishonesty that is breathtaking. Richard Nixon must be looking down and wondering what he did wrong – that he couldn’t be as clever as these people are at total dishonesty.”
