Dan Rather: There Wouldn’t Be Peaceful Transition if Trump Had Won Popular Vote and Lost Electoral Vote

On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Hardball,” former CBS host Dan Rather argued there wouldn’t be a peaceful transition of power had President-Elect Donald Trump won the popular vote but lost the electoral vote.

While discussing the peaceful transition of power, Rather was asked if there would be a peaceful transition of power if Donald Trump had won the popular vote by 3 million votes but lost the Electoral College. He answered, “No.”
