NBC’s Jansing: You Have to ‘Acknowledge’ Obama Admin Was Scandal Free –There Were Just ‘Policy Differences’

While speaking Saturday with Marili Cancio, a member of the Donald Trump National Hispanic Council, NBC News Senior White House Correspondent Chris Jansing said that you “have to at least acknowledge that the Obama Administration was scandal free,” saying there were just policy differences.

Partial transcript as follows:

CANCIO: I believe that we’ve had horrible things happen in the White house, even during the Obama Administration, some of his women that work for him did not get equal pay…

JANSING: They brought equal pay to the White House, and in addition to that, this administration was completely scandal free. You have to at least acknowledge that.

CANCIO: Well, it depends what you call scandal free. there are plenty of scandals if you talk about IRS, the guns issues. There’s a lot of things that happened during the Obama presidency that I personally consider scandals.

JANSING Policy differences, right?

CANCIO: I think more than that. You talk about Benghazi, for me that is a huge scandal that was a major cover-up. There were a lot of things that happened during the eight years of Obama — not with him personally. I believe President Obama as a person, as a family man, was scandal free and like Bill Clinton, but that’s not who we’re talking about.
