Warriors’ Iguodala on Not Playing Against Spurs: ‘I Do What Master Say’

Following Friday’s loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Golden State Warriors guard/forward Andre Iguodala made some racial remarks while speaking to a group of reporters.

“What would dumb n**** say? ‘Just play harder. Figure it out. Change gonna come.’ You know what we used to say, ‘Change gonna come,'” Iguodala said about the loss.

When asked about some of the Warriors’ key players sitting out their next game against the San Antonio Spurs, Iguodala responded, “I do what master say.”

Before the team’s game against the Spurs, Warriors coach Steve Kerr was asked about his player’s comments, but according to ESPN, Kerr shrugged it off, telling reporters, “You got Andre’d.”

“Andre is one of those guys who likes to stir the pot and has a lot of cryptic messaging at times,” Kerr added. “[He] jokes around. I didn’t take anything from it. It’s just Andre being Andre.”
