Sunday on CNN’s “Fareed Zakaria GPS,” while discussing meetings between Russain ambassador Sergey Kislyak and a number of Trump associates, Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said probably see that “lots of meetings” between Kislyak and those connected with the Clinton campaign.
Kislyak said, “Well if you look at some people connected with Hillary Clinton during her campaign, you would probably see that he had lots of meetings of that kind. But there were no meetings about the electoral process. No way it should be perceived as interference in the electoral process. There are lots of specialist in politology, people working in think tanks, advising Hillary or advising people working for Hillary. If you look at it with intention, you would probably say he was trying to interfere in Hillary’s activities. It would be nonsense because it’s not true.”
