Watch: SNL’s Trump Tries to Connect with Kentucky Citizens

During this weekend’s broadcast of “Saturday Night Live” cold open, Alec Baldwin as President Donald Trump spoke with Kentucky citizens about topics such as Syria, healthcare and Justice Neil Gorsuch.

Baldwin’s character deflected from the questions, blaming House Speaker Paul Ryan for failed the failed Obamacare replacement bill and saying former President Barack Obama’s national security adviser Susan Rice should be put in jail.

Although he did not answer questions, Trump told the town hall attendees, “You stand by me now matter what. You found a finger in your chili and still eat the chili and you don’t know how much you love chili. It’s tremendous.”
