FS1’s Sharpe on Tiger Woods DUI: Police Would Never Take Manning, Brady, Elway to Jail in Their Sports Towns

Tuesday, Fox Sports 1 “Undisputed” co-host Shannon Sharpe weighed in on golfer Tiger Woods’ DUI arrest early Monday morning.

Sharpe, responding to FS1’s Rob Parker saying New York police officers would have driven former Yankees star outfielder Mickey Mantle home if they found him drunk, said cops would never take Tom Brady, Peyton Manning or John Elway to jail if they were found under the influence.

“I guarantee you if Tom Brady, and I don’t know, Tom Brady probably doesn’t drink, there’s not a Boston cop taking Tom Brady into the precinct. You know that, I know that. There’s not a cop in Indianapolis taking Peyton Manning. There’s not a cop in Colorado taking John Elway to the precinct,” Sharpe responded.
