GOP Rep Stewart on If Trump Obstructed Justice: ‘I Don’t Think We Have Near Enough Information’

Wednesday on CNN’s “New Day,” Rep. Chris Stewart (R-UT), a member of the House Intelligence Committee, declared if President Donald Trump attempted to interfere with an investigation, he should be “held accountable,” but said there wasn’t enough information to make that determination.

“Yeah look, I think if the president inappropriately tried to interfere with any type of investigation that he should be held accountable for that,” Stewart said. “I think there is a technical question there. Is it illegal? Is is obstruction? I don’t know the answer to that. I don’t think we have near enough information to draw that conclusion yet.”
