During Tuesday’s “Varney & Company” on Fox Business Network, conservative commentator Mark Steyn urged Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, House Speaker Paul Ryan and the rest of the Republicans in Congress to work with President Donald Trump to push his agenda.
“[R]yan, McConnell [and] the Congress has to get on board with the president’s program. There’s no alternative, and if they don’t actually want to advance it against Democrat obstructionism, they will be punished for that next year,” Steyn stated.
He added, “Trump is a Republican president and he’s entitled to the support of the Republican Congress.”
