Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci reacted to the violence Saturday at a Charlottesville, VA protest, which left three dead and 19 injured.

Scaramucci said President Donald Trump “needed to be much harsher” to the white supremacists.

Scaramucci said “I wouldn’t have recommended that statement,” he explained. “I think he needed to be much harsher relating to the white supremacists and the nature of that. I applaud General McMaster for calling it out for what it is. It’s actually terrorism. Whether it’s domestic of international terrorism, with the moral authority of the presidency, you have to call that stuff out.”
