Brinkley: We Have a ‘Sick Man in the White House,’ Trump Not ‘Mentally Stable’

Sunday on CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” Rice University history professor and network commentator Douglas Brinkley said President Donald Trump was a “sick man,” adding that he was “not mentally stable.”

Brinkley said, “Senator Corker is a real leader among Republicans, and it was brave of him to step out and talk about the fact we have an incompetent president and what does that mean for our country. There are things that is can be done right now. On the on the medical front, we all know he is a billboard for overt narcissism, malignant self-love. Now we’re getting the ramifications as a nation of having a sick man in the White House means.”

He added, “He is not mentally stable.”
