Broncos Linebacker Brandon Marshall: Kaepernick Still Trying to Get in the NFL — ‘Nobody’s Taking His Calls’

Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall claims Colin Kaepernick is not without a job due to a lack of trying.

Marshall, a former college teammate of Kaepernick, told Fox Sports 1’s Colin Cowherd Thursday that Kaepernick still works out regularly and has tried to get himself back in the league, but nobody is taking his calls.

“I talked to [Kaepernick] last week,” Marshall said on “The Herd.” “He told me he’s working out five days a week … he’s not hearing from anybody. Nobody’s, you know, taking his calls, but he’s still grinding, he’s still working, he still wants to be out there.”
