Joy Reid: John Kelly Willing to Be ‘Used’ by Trump

Saturday, MSNBC “AM Joy” host Joy Reid asked MSNBC military analyst Col. Jack Jacobs about White House chief of staff John Kelly’s “willingness to be used” by President Donald Trump in the dispute with Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL) over calls to the families of slain soldiers.

“You know, Donald Trump likes to hide behind his generals,” Reid told Jacobs. “He likes to push them out front in order to give himself credibility. What do you make of General Kelly’s willingness to be used in that way this week and then to add this extraneous story that turns up not even to be true slamming the congresswoman?”
