Former Clinton Adviser Tells Fox Host: ‘I’m Never Coming Back on This Show’

Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “Happening Now,” former Bill Clinton adviser Simon Rosenberg said he was “never coming back on this show ever again,” as he removed his microphone at the end of a heated interview.

Things got testy during a tax discussion when host Melissa Francis said, “You are doing talking points.”

Rosenberg shot back, “It is insulting you say that to me as if I don’t understand what I’m saying.”

Francis said, “But you’re not answering the question.”

Rosenberg said, “I am answering the question, which is Democrats are not going to support tax reform that dramatically cuts taxes on people that don’t need tax cuts and prevents middle class people from sharing in the benefits of these tax cuts while driving up the deficit. We will never support that framework. So if they want to move, as Senator Wyden said, to a bipartisan approach, we are very open to staying focused on the middle class and not driving up the deficit. That’s what the Democrats want to do.”

After more back and forth, Francis said, “You know Simon you and I are going to have to get a drink sometime. We can’t show up and fight like this all the time.”

Rosenberg said, “Melissa, don’t worry. I’m never coming back on this show ever again, so it doesn’t matter. Thank you.”
