This week’s “Saturday Night Live” cold open was a “reenactment of events that may have taken place” in 2016 — a secret meeting at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London between Donald Trump Jr. and WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange.
In the skit, “Assange” hands Trump, played by Mikey Day, joined by his brother “Eric,” information on Hillary Clinton.
“Mr. Assange, I assure you that your efforts will be rewarded,” Day said. “My father would never sell you out. Help him now and you will be repaid a thousandfold.”
