Trump: Congress Should Release the Names of Lawmakers Who Settled Sexual Harassment Claims

While speaking to reporters on Tuesday, President Trump stated Congress should release the names of lawmakers who have settled on claims of sexual harassment.

Trump was asked, “Do you believe Congress should release the names of lawmakers who have settled on sexual harassment claims?”

He answered, “I do. I really do. I think they should.”

Trump did not comment on the settlement that Representative John Conyers (D-MI) reached, stating he had just heard about the Conyers news. He also said it’s better if Senator Al Franken (D-MN) speaks for himself, and he doesn’t want to speak for Franken.
