Hannity: ‘It Was San Francisco’s Sanctuary City Policies That Killed Kate Steinle’

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” host Sean Hannity reacted to a San Francisco jury’s verdict acquiting Jose Ines Garcia Zarate of murder and manslaughter charges for the death of Kate Steinle.

Hannity blamed the “sanctuary city” policies of San Francisco for Steinle’s death and criticized the verdict.

“Let me tell you something the mainstream media will never tell you tonight: It was San Francisco’s sanctuary city policies that killed Kate Steinle,” Hannity said. “They did not obey the law. They followed these ridiculous liberal policies. And because of their stupidity and their, quote  ‘form of justice’ and caring more about the rights of illegal, convicted felons, tonight Kate Steinle is dead, and her family has received no justice.”
