ESPN’s Le Batard Purchased LaVar Ball’s Big Baller Brand Shoes, Received Wrong Pair Eight Months Later

For his ESPN Radio show, Dan Le Batard purchased two pairs of LaVar Ball’s Big Baller Brand shoes in early May to give away to listeners.

Le Batard said he purchased the shoes before he got “tired” of LaVar, who has publicly feuded with President Trump, blamed UCLA’s white players for the team not winning the national championship, taken his sons out of school to play professionally in Lithuania and claimed he would beat Michael Jordan in one-on-one.

Wednesday, the “Dan Le Batard Show” host did a live opening of the shoes that came in eight months later, only to find out he was sent the wrong shoes.

“This is the worst business in America,” Le Batard said of Big Baller Brand.

The logo of the shoe he ordered was in a different place and he purchased low tops, only to get mid-tops. The body of the shoe was also a little different than what he initially ordered.

“I like the shoe better than the one I ordered,” Le Batard said, holding the sneaker. “It’s not the shoe I ordered. I paid $500 eight months ago to get not the shoe I ordered.”

“A thousand dollars has never been spent more frivolously,” he concluded.
