Dem Sen Blumenthal: ‘There Will Be More Indictments and More Convictions’ in Mueller Probe

On Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “AC360,” Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said the Robert Mueller probe is “mounting” and is merely at “the end of the beginning.” He also predicted with “near certainty” that the probe will result in more indictments and convictions.

Blumenthal stated, “This investigation is mounting in intensity and scope. It is not the beginning of the end. It is the end of the beginning. And there will be more indictments and more convictions, I think, is a near certainty, before this investigation is over.”
