Celebrities, heeding Benjamin Franklin’s advice that “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,” are buying up new “top-level” domain names like .porn to prevent cybersquatters or extortionists from besmirching their reputations and/or selling them later for a much higher price.

EPA Tells Kids to Avoid Baths and Asks them to Check Toilets for Leaks

Parents across America who struggle to keep their young rambunctious kids clean now have a new obstacle: the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

As part of its effort to help save the planet from the dangers of taking too many baths, EPA’s WaterSense program is trying to convince kids they should avoid bathtubs in favor of showers, which it says is a far more efficient use of water.

“We’re starting to see the behavior here on the dock with the seals a little more aggressive than normally,” said local Erik Kopp after seeing a man hauled off in a stretcher from San Diego’s Mission Bay Channel Sunday afternoon. The man was holding a fish in his hand when a sea lion jumped up and bit the fish and the man’s hand, dragging the man underwater as well.
